Quick start

Welcome to 1nbox — we’re stoked to have you on board. This guide will walk you through the essentials: creating your account, exploring the core features, and getting comfortable with how everything fits together.

Create an account

To use 1nbox, you'll need to create an account. This is a simple process, and only takes a few minutes to complete. We know, we know, another account to sign up for. But it's worth it.

1nbox is accessible through a web browser, and is available on desktop, tablet and mobile devices. All you need is an email address to get started. The button below will take you to the sign up page.

Basic usage

Once you’re signed in, you’ll land on the home page — or as we call it, the dashboard. This is your launchpad. It might look a little empty at first, but don’t worry — as you start creating services, staff and bookings, your dashboard will begin to shine.

Dashboard

The dashboard gives you a bird’s-eye view of your business. You’ll see metric widgets for appointments, new customers, and cancellations — each with a weekly chart. The earnings tracker shows forecast revenue, and the staff and services section highlights your top performers. Use the period toggle (Day, Week, Month) to change the time range. On mobile, tap the expand button on any widget to view the chart in full screen. For a full breakdown of each widget and how to use insights, see Dashboard Overview.

Navigation

Let's take a look around, and explore how to move between the main areas of the app.

Left sidebar

The left sidebar is a quick way to navigate to the different pages of the 1nbox app. It also allows you to access your profile, settings, and support.

On mobile devices, the sidebar is hidden by default. Tap the menu button in the top navigation bar to open it.

Getting started tasks

All new business accounts see a getting started checklist. Complete these tasks in order to set up your business and start taking bookings. Each task links to the relevant page in the app.

Task Description
Update your profile When you created an account, we created your staff profile with basic details. Add your name, bio, contact information, working schedule, and calendar colour. See Profile for details.
Setup your business Configure your business name, type, operating hours, booking rules, and preferences. This is where you enable your online booking page and set your cancellation policy. See Business for details.
Create your first service Services are what customers book. Add a name, description, price, duration, and optionally a buffer time. Group services with categories and assign them to staff. See Services for details.
Add staff members Invite team members via email. They receive an invitation link to join your business. Once accepted, they can manage their profile, schedule, and appointments. See Staff for details.
