Services

Services are what customers book. Each service has a name, description, price, duration, and optionally a buffer time. You can assign services to specific staff or offer them to all staff. Owners can add and edit services; staff can view only.

Services overview

The Services page lists all your services with their name, price, duration, and status. Stats cards show total services, active count, average price, and bookings this week. Click a row to open the service panel and edit details.


Creating a service

Owners click Add service to create a new service. Fill in the basic details first — name, category, and description — then set pricing and duration.


Service details

Field Description
Name Service name. Required, max 100 characters.
Category Group services (e.g. "Haircuts", "Massage"). Helps organise on the booking page.
Description What the service includes. Shown to customers. Max 500 characters.
Image Optional service image. Recommended 400×400px, max 5MB.

Pricing

Set the price and currency. If Fixed pricing is on, all staff offer the service at the same price. If off, you can set individual price overrides per staff member in the staff panel.


Duration and scheduling

Duration is how long the appointment is (e.g. 30, 60, 90 minutes). Buffer time is extra time after the appointment for cleanup or prep — it blocks the next slot from being booked too close. Choose from presets like 0, 5, 15, or 30 minutes.


Staff assignment

By default, Offered by all staff means every staff member can perform the service. Turn this off to assign the service only to specific staff. When you assign to staff, only those staff members will appear as options for that service on the booking page.


Categories

Categories help organise services on your booking page. Use consistent names (e.g. "Haircuts", "Colour", "Treatments") so customers can browse by type.


Managing services

Use the Active toggle to hide a service without deleting it. Inactive services are not shown on the booking page and cannot be booked. You can reactivate them later. Owners can delete services; deletion is soft — the service is hidden but data is retained for historical appointments.

Choose a calendar colour for the service so appointments are visually distinct on the calendar.
