Staff

The Staff page lists everyone in your business — the owner and any invited team members. Owners can add, edit, and remove staff. Staff can edit their own details and manage their time off, but cannot add or delete other staff.

Staff overview

The staff table shows each team member with their name, role, join date, contact details, availability, and status. Click a row to open the staff panel and view or edit their details. Use the stats cards at the top to see total employees, active count, team rating, and appointments this week.


Adding staff

Owners can invite new staff by clicking Add staff. Enter the person's email address and optionally their name and role. An invitation email is sent with a link to join. The invited person must create an account (or sign in) and accept the invitation within 7 days.

Staff limits

The number of bookable staff depends on your subscription. Free tier has no bookable staff slots; Premium includes a base number with optional add-ons for more.


Invitation lifecycle

Invitations move through a few states:

Status Description
Pending Invitation sent, awaiting acceptance. Owner can resend or revoke.
Accepted Staff member has joined and can access the app.
Revoked Owner cancelled the invitation before acceptance.
Expired 7 days passed without acceptance. Owner can resend to generate a new link.

Managing staff details

Open the staff panel to edit personal information, work details, schedule, notifications, and display preferences. Changes save automatically. Fields include:

Staff can edit their own profile. Owners can edit any staff member and remove staff (except themselves).


Time off and unavailability

Staff can add time off — vacations, sick days, or blocked periods. Use Manage Time Off from the staff panel or the action menu. Add a type, date range, and optional reason. For partial days, specify start and end times.

If time off overlaps with existing appointments, the system creates conflicts. Staff must resolve these (contact customer, reschedule or cancel) before the time off date.


Resolving conflicts

When you add time off that conflicts with appointments, a conflict list appears. Each conflict shows the customer, service, date, and time. You must contact the customer and resolve the appointment — either reschedule to a new slot or cancel. Mark the conflict as resolved once done.

1nbox has two roles: Owner and Staff.
