Profile

Your profile is your personal space within 1nbox. It holds your contact details, working schedule, and display preferences. Keeping it up to date ensures your team and your customers always have the right information.

Auto-save

All profile fields save automatically when you move to the next field. No save button required.

Personal information

Your personal details are the foundation of your staff record. These appear on your calendar, in appointment confirmations, and on the public booking page (if enabled).

Field Description
First name Your given name, displayed on the calendar and booking page.
Surname Your family name.
Preferred name A nickname or shortened name you'd like to go by.
Email Your account email. This is managed through your account settings and cannot be changed from the profile.
Phone Your contact phone number, including country code.

Profile image

Upload a profile photo to personalise your staff card on the calendar and booking page. Images should be square (recommended 400×400px) and no larger than 5MB. Supported formats include JPG and PNG.

Work details

Work details describe your role and responsibilities within the business. These are visible to your team and, where applicable, to customers on the booking page.

Field Description
Role Your job title or position (e.g. "Senior Stylist", "Owner").
Location The branch or location you primarily work from.
Biography A short description about you. This can appear on the booking page.

Working schedule

Your working schedule defines when you're available for bookings. For each day, you can set a start time and end time. Days left unchecked are treated as days off — no bookings will be offered during those periods.

Schedule vs business hours

Your personal schedule operates independently from the business operating hours. Availability for bookings is determined by the overlap — both you and the business must be open for a slot to appear.

Breaks

Within each working day, you can add one or more break periods. Break times block out availability so customers cannot book during those windows. Common uses include lunch breaks, admin time, or rest periods between appointments.

Notification preferences

Control how you're notified about new bookings, cancellations, and other appointment activity.

Setting Description
Email notifications Receive an email each time a booking is made, cancelled, or rescheduled for you.

Calendar display

Choose a calendar colour for your appointments. This colour is used on the shared calendar view so your bookings are visually distinct from other team members. Select from the available colour palette to personalise your display.
