Analytics Overview
Analytics gives you performance insights across your bookings, revenue, and customers. It turns your appointment data into clear metrics, charts, and actionable recommendations so you can spot trends, improve retention, and grow your business.
What you see
The Analytics page is organised into the following sections:
| Section | Description |
|---|---|
| Primary metrics | Bookings, Completed, Avg Lead Time, Avg Spend |
| Rate metrics | Cancellation Rate, No-Show Rate, Reschedule Rate, Repeat Rate |
| Actionable insights | Recommendations when patterns need attention |
| Booking Trend | Daily or monthly chart of bookings and revenue |
| Service & Staff Breakdowns | Tables by service and staff member |
| Charts | Customer Mix, Revenue, Busiest Days, Lead Time, Booking Source, Peak Hours |
Period toggle
At the top of the page, use the period toggle to change the time range for all data:
| Period | Date range |
|---|---|
| Week | Last 7 days (Monday to Sunday) |
| Month | Current calendar month |
| Year | Current calendar year |
| All Time | All data since you started using 1nbox |
Each metric shows a comparison to the previous period (e.g. last month) when available. Arrows indicate whether the value went up or down.
How comparisons work
Your numbers update in real time as appointments come in. But comparing an incomplete period to a complete one can be misleading. For example, if you view weekly analytics on a Monday, this week has only 1 day of data while last week has 7 — a comparison would suggest a big "decline" that isn't real.
To avoid that, 1nbox uses completed periods only for comparisons and insights:
| What you see | Data source | Example (Month view, mid-March) |
|---|---|---|
| Metric values, charts, breakdowns | Current period (live) | March 2026 (in progress) |
| Comparison arrows on KPIs | Last completed vs prior completed | February 2026 vs January 2026 |
| Actionable insights | Last completed vs prior completed | February 2026 vs January 2026 |
By period:
| Period | Live metrics show | Comparisons use |
|---|---|---|
| Week | This week (in progress) | Last week vs 2 weeks ago |
| Month | This month (in progress) | Last month vs 2 months ago |
| Year | This year (in progress) | Last year vs 2 years ago |
| All Time | All time totals | No comparison |
What this means for you:
- Your numbers always reflect the latest data for the current period.
- Trend arrows and insights reflect the most recent completed period-over-period change — no false alarms from partial weeks or months.
- You need at least two full completed periods before comparisons and insights appear. For example, on Week view you'll need two full weeks of past data.
Access and subscription
Analytics is a premium feature. Access depends on your subscription tier. If you see "Premium feature" instead of data, you may need to upgrade your plan. Check Billing & Subscriptions for details.
Data freshness
Analytics data is updated in real time as appointments are created, completed, cancelled, or marked as no-shows. The page caches data until midnight, so you always start each business day with a fresh view. Switching periods or refreshing will load the latest data.
